Babe Gone Bad, 1997, Poplar and copper, ed. 2, 26" h. x 24" l. 12" w., (c) James Mellick
This pig is a part of a series of "ghost" animals designed for the front and back to hang in opposite rooms to give the appearance of the sculpture penetrating a wall. In keeping with the times, the pig sports three brass rings--in the nose, ear and nipple. Two "ghost" pigs are available. One is presently at An American Craftsman Gallery in New York City and the other is displayed at Spagio Restaurant in Columbus.
