Individual Photos of Puppies

Puppy "White" stood above the rest.

No one who looked at our pups left without buying one.  Some who searched in the Columbus area have told us that our pups are the most beautiful that they had seen.  The pups were so similar in quality that visits averaged two hours as hard decisions were made.  We used colored hair bands, backed up with ear marks, to tell them a part so we could track their development.  I don't know if it was "luck" with this breeding but I think it has something to do with our "pre-natal" care, nutrition and the youth of the Dam.  I think it had something to do with our watchful eyes and research from the time they were whelped through the fourth week .  The whelping box was in our bedroom for the first three weeks where we could control the temperature for both the Dam and the pups.

Our Dam and Sire are pretty much "free range" on the farm and they were strong and healthy from the start.  All eight expected pups survived birth.  Only one pup, which turned out to be the largest male, was born with a little white patch on his chest.  He weighed in at 18 lbs., 4 oz. near the end of the eighth week. The smallest female weighed 15 lbs., 8 oz.  Every two days we tracked the weight gains of all the pups.  Weaning took place during their sixth week and we switched them to the Science Diet puppy food at that time, three meals per day.  It was also during this time that we saw individual personalities emerge.

All the pups have had their first shots and worming.  We provide a sales contract which protects the interests of the seller, buyer and the puppy.
