New Work for 2001 from the Mellick Atelier

     Jim Mellick has started the year with two new series of abstract wall sculptures which are smaller in scale.  The first group are miniature compositions of carved and painted wood combined with some copper.  These are designed to hang on small wall spaces.  The second group are larger formal designs with the nautical themes of the sail, rudder and fin.  These and others will first be exhibited in a solo show at the Gallery at Studio "B" , 140 West Main Street, Lancaster, Ohio, during February and March, 2001.
