Friends of
Heartwood
The "Friends" of Heartwood are extremely talented younger artists who
join Heartwood from time to time and add greatly to the mix and fill out
the bill by performing their own solos and music. They enjoy playing
and singing Heartwood's music and any of these friends would make great session
artists for studio recordings.

Scott Vallery is versatile in any guitar style and has been and is,
a guitar and bass teacher for many students. He makes the lead guitar
sing in the Heartwood performances and has a great testimony in both word
and music.

Tabitha Kelly sings with an alto to soprano range and has a power in
her voice that will blow you away. A senior music major, she is also
the music director at the Old Stone Church outside of Delaware, Ohio. Here
she sings Heartwood's version of "Let the River Flow".

At the age of 15, Alex Vargo can easily switch from violin to fiddle.
Without practice she easily joins a Heartwood performance at a moment's
notice. She is an upcoming star of the violin, or if you prefer, fiddle.
Of course, her school work comes first.
